Responding to growth in the quickly expanding hydroponics market, Sun Gro asked KenCreative to design packaging for various bagged soils as part of the Sunshine Advanced Brand. KenCreative updated the package design for Sunshine Advanced Mix #4. While keeping the line’s signature black background, our designers brightened the package with a wash of yellow and a red texture tread-like overlay.

The vibrancy of the colors along with the stylized plant illustration offer a visual dimension that is both attractive but also retains an element of industrial strength. Bright, bold, and edgy the new Sunshine Advanced Mix #4 package design targets the hydro professional who demands quality potting soil.
